Remote Instruction Guide

The Remote Instruction Guide provides methods, tools, and best practices for incorporating online components into your in-person class to accommodate students who may need to miss several class sessions and also prepare for potential short-term disruptions during the semester. Additionally, many of the strategies outlined in the guide are useful approaches in any semester to ensure all students are equally able to be part of the class community.

Use your bCourses site to present materials, administer assessments and assignments, and engage students
Develop engaging instructional materials
Design flexible exams and assignments
Grade student exams and assignments and provide feedback via bCourses and Gradescope
Provide opportunities for active student-to-student interaction
Meet the accommodations required for students who have Letters of Accommodation (LOAs) from the Disabled Students' Program (DSP)
Communicate with students via bCourses and Zoom
