Team Screencast
- Due Jul 28 by 3pm
- Points 10
- Submitting a website url or a media recording
Screencast demo'ing the features your team built
(Note: screencasts are due right before the live presentation session begins, since we'll show each team's screencast right before that team's presentation.)
The screencast should be at most 4 minutes, and shorter is fine! It should serve as an overview of the following:
- Indicate if this is a brand new ("greenfield") app or improvements to a legacy app
- A brief overview of the customer’s need, and core features requested by them
- Brief demonstration showing the features you created/added in action
You can use any tech you wish, though it may be simplest to just prep a script, start and record a Zoom meeting with screensharing on, then as necessary use either MacOS's built-in Quicktime Player or YouTube's built-in simple video editor to trim out the dead parts (transitions, "umm/ahh", etc.) If you're comfortable using Adobe Premiere, the campus has a site license for it. I also like Camtasia, although that's a paid product that the campus doesn't have a license for.
Submit by uploading a media file in bCourses or providing a link to a YouTube URL, your choice, but either way it must be accessible before the live presentations begin.
