CS375 COVID-19 protocol

This course will follow all campus protocols for in-person instruction.

As of August 16, 2021, this means:

We will explore meeting outdoors as a possible mitigation, but as long as we are meeting indoors, there will be no exceptions to the above protocols, and remote participation is not sufficient nor will facilities for it be provided. If this presents a hardship, please consider un-enrolling.

See coronavirus.berkeley.eduLinks to an external site. for more information on the policies and on where to get vaccinated and tested.

Note: EECS professor and former chair Jeff Bokor recommends  the Airgami mask (Links to an external site.) for those who have had issues with glasses fogging up. Jeff writes: “Its unique design gives the best fit of any mask I’ve found, with an excellent seal around the nose and cheek areas.  There is virtually no exhaled air leaking up into your glasses, and hence no fogging.  It’s the only mask I’ve found that really does not fog up my glasses.  It has an N95 grade liner but also large surface area and hence great breathability.  It now comes in a variety of colors and patterns.  It’s a bit pricey at $23.99 - $29.99 (depending on color/style), but you can clean it and it lasts a long time.  I’ve been getting a few months of life out of them.”
