Resources for student well-being

  • Start with the UCB Gold Folder provided by : recognizing potential symptoms of student distress and identifying appropriate campus resources to refer students to. Importantly, this can help you identify whether immediate attention is warranted, and a clear process to follow for indicating a potential concern about a student.
  • The Gold Folder process via CSI can take up to three days; in emergencies, see these emergency reporting resources Links to an external site. instead.
  • Therapy Assistance Online: self-service online library of programs to help learn life skills and bounce back from stumbling blocks
  • EECS Peers: Berkeley EECS grad students supporting other grad students through all the challenges of grad school life. Their homepage also includes links to go directly to the Faculty Ombudsperson or a member of the department's grievance committee for students who prefer to go directly to a faculty member with their concerns.
