Working with other TAs for your class (if possible), sketch the design of an auto-gradable question that could be administered by computer, based on a challenging question from a current or previous midterm or final. The auto-gradable version doesn't have to exactly match the original version, and need not be 100% auto-gradable, but should include some consideration of how far you could go with auto-grading without compromising the difficulty of the question. Also, try to address how different variants of the question could be automatically generated. What are the pros/cons of this adaptation compared to the original question you based it on?
We'd like each table to contribute 1 example that we can talk through in class. Coordinate offline with your table-mates (get their email addresses,etc.) and add a slide or two for your table in the Student Docs slide deck for Assessments part 2 Links to an external site..
