Meta Data

Conduct these steps to add proper meta data to your Microsoft Word file. 

Select File Menu

  1. From the Menu bar, select "File"Select the File option from the Menu Bar

  2. From the drop-down, select "Properties..."Select Properties

Summary Tab

Select the "Summary" tab and enter content in the Title, Subject, Author and Company fields.Select the Summary tab.  Enter content into the relevant fields.  Be sure to include a Title.

Custom Tab

  1. Select the "Custom" tab.  
  2. Select "Language" from the Name field and add "English" to the "Value" field.
  3. Select "Add"
  4. Select "OK"Select Custom. Select Language.  Type English in the Value field.  Select Add.  Select OK
