Styles in Use

These next steps are to simplify the Styles tool prior to modifying particular styles.  The intention is to reduce the number of choices to styles "in use."

  1. From the Styles pane, select the drop-down list.Activate the drop down menu from the List option in the Styles Pane

  2. Select "Styles In Use."
    Select Styles in Use
  3. The Styles tool options have now been reduced to 11. By limiting the listed styles to those "in use," we can now more quickly work with relevant styles.  If needed, you can always switch back to listing "All styles" in the Styles Pane drop down list.
  4. Notice how the styles/heading levels are  assigned on the Style Area Pane.Screenshot demonstrating the Styles Area Pane and the reduced options in the Styles Pane
